Fenix 6 Sapphire or Pro

I sent my Fenix 6 Sapphire for repair due to GPS issue, the service center said afterward they change the board. Now, I can see in Garmin Connect shows only Fenix 6 Pro. anyone knows the reason?

It seems they put Fenix 6 Pro motherboard inside. I think there is no difference between them except the hardware coded model code.

Are you sure that you got the same watch back? The serial number is the same?

yes, the series number is the same as before.

well the pro version has topo maps, so can you see maps on your watch. If so you are lucky. Maybe they placed a fenix 6 pro MB in. or maybe its the same mobo just with different features enabled/disabled

The Sapphire versions are Pro units with a sapphire screen.

If the OP has got the original unit back with the original screen, should be all good.
