I loose the seconds hand always on !

I just get a chat with Garmin support and they told me it's normal that the seconds hand disappear after 30 seconds without a move. But As As I worked many years for watchmakers these is detail I see quickly and I'm sur that before this when my watch was laying on my desk the seconds where always on. So anybody as the seconds hand always on without timeout on standard watchfaces ?

You can download some Garmin developed CIQ watchfaces that have a always-on second hand.  The problem with drawing the second hand every second is that the battery life suffers because it's always updating.  So be aware if you really need this, your battery life will decrease.

I don't think any of the default, built in, non-ciq watch faces support always on second hand.

So you confirm that the default integrated dials did not have the seconds hand always on. Looks like I've had a bug before, and maybe the strange behavior I had when installing the Garmin "Racer" dial from CIQ is due to this bug...

Not me and this has been standard behaviour for as long as I can remember. It doesn't take much action to re-energise the secondhand so it is possible that what's happened in the past is that you've moved sufficiently to generate the secondhand again.

No, I'm sure it was always active. To see it reappear after a movement is obvious. And when I was working on my computer, it was sitting on the desk, I would have noticed it disappear. But as you confirm that the timeout is normal, I should have a bug before.

Just a question, Garmin told me 30 seconds, but the second hands disappear after 15 on my watch. Is it the sam fore you ?

it seems that Garmin changed to 15 seconds at this firmware (4.10) and some people’s complaints that on their watch the seconds didn’t disappear at all. So definitely they’re could be some problems on these function. Happy to know that mine got back on the right way. 

I have this feeling that it might have been 15s in the past so guess there's been a change somewhere along the line. But it's nothing I'm concerned about and certainly have no plans to waste any more time on this.

I wish they would just let us disable the second hand all together on the default face.
