Updated to 11.10 Jacket Mode no gesture backlight

What are your settings for Backlight in jacket mode?

I have backlight as "don't change" 

And under settings backlight I have under activity gesture "after sunset" or "on" just tried both, timeout 4 secs, brightness 10%

Edit: Not working for me in Jacket Mode.

Note that there are two different settings for Backlight - During Activity, and Not During Activity. Make sure you check the settings for both. [Bitter experience]

Just checked both settings, not during activity works as intended, the problem is during activity, with normal power mode the gesture works, with jacket mode it won't work in every single type of activity. 

OK, in my experimenting I had come out of Jacket Mode.

I can confirm your problem is re-producible. Gesture activated backlight does not work during an activity in Jacket Mode under 11.10.

In order to replicate it you have to set the default power mode to Jacket Mode, then exit to the watchface and enter an activity again. 

If you have normal as your default power mode and change the default to Jacket Mode and don't exit to the watchface it works. 

Same bug with gesture to switch on display, when powered off automatically. No way anymore to switch on with gesture, only with press on a button.

Reported to Garmin since beta 10.77. No reaction.

Can confirm so it looks like a general bug.

This bug also appears to affect gesture to activate the display when the display is set to power off, such as in battery-saving custom regimes. 11.10 has apparently killed gesture off completely.
