Same here.. after this mew update in the morning.. my battery is down from 100% to 68% within 9 hours... Bluetooth off, wifi off, pulse ox off.. keeping my usual settings as before.. when i used to ha…
I use 100% battery in 20 hours on a Fenix 6s pro which I’ve only had for 10 days. Was fine before update
HI, I have just had the same thing. Updated to latest release last night with watch charged 100% and this morning its down to 62% afte sitting on my desk all night, no wifi running, no bluetooth running…
Right. I've had a lot of Garmin watches and this thing (6s Pro) is full of buggy behavior. I'm returning it for a vivoactive for my wife. Hopefully that model works. But I really wanted her to have a Fenix so I'm not happy with Garmin at all right now..
I also have problem with battery and last 15.2 fw. Usually, consumption was 0.3%/h, now it is 0.8%/h
I dont use any watchface, widgwts... only garmin defaults. I did factory reset of the watch, but no help
wifi must be turned off, it drains the battery!!!
You might want to check location permissions for Connect. Mine was set to location only when Connect was active and after a recent upgrade my battery use went way up. I deleted Connect, reinstalled, and set location permission to always. Now my battery use is way, way down. Only about. 256 per hour.
It's the bluetooth connection with the phone. With bluetooth turned on it was around 20% a day. Without it, 5% a day. I've tried hard reset, soft reset, turn the watch on and off, unpair it, unnistall and install garmin app on the phone... Nothing works... It began in the end of last year with a firmware update. First i thought spotify was causing the drain, but it's not. I have android phone with android 10. My watch is 1 year old fenix 6X sapphire
It could be that the watch keeps trying to connect to the Connect mobile app because the location permissions are not set correctly. That would make it look like the cause is bluetooth when it is not. Your call, but if it was me I would uninstall connect, reinstall it, and set location to always and see what the result is.

Intriguing. That's exactly the setting I have, but Bluetooth is still half the standby power. Do you have the connect IQ app on your phone too?
Yes I have Connect IQ on my phone also.
Permissions are ok
