Same here.. after this mew update in the morning.. my battery is down from 100% to 68% within 9 hours... Bluetooth off, wifi off, pulse ox off.. keeping my usual settings as before.. when i used to ha…
I use 100% battery in 20 hours on a Fenix 6s pro which I’ve only had for 10 days. Was fine before update
HI, I have just had the same thing. Updated to latest release last night with watch charged 100% and this morning its down to 62% afte sitting on my desk all night, no wifi running, no bluetooth running…
"Not Connected", but not with my ANT+/BLE cadence sensor which is always "Searching" and never times out.
This caught my eye. Other than my headphones, all my sensors are connected using Ant+. Maybe there's an issue with Bluetooth trying to continously connect?
Maybe there's an issue with Bluetooth trying to continously connect?
That's exactly what I'm trying to say ;)
Ahh, the constant "fix" that isn't for most again.
I assumed you were connected using ANT+ and you didn't specify until after my comment. I should have asked and not assumed. Anyway, instead of removing the sensor from the watch and the problem going away, have you tried turning off Bluetooth to confirm it's the sensor or tried connecting using ANT+?
Just to recap, on my watch, when I go to sensors, all my ANT sensors state "SEARCHING" and my two BT headsets show "not connected". So BT looks ok for me, asking if its normal when not in activity but going to the sensor menu, for all ANT sensors to be searching? If its normal than my battery issue is something else but I still currently go through about 10-15% a day in watch mode
This is exactly what I get for my ANT+ connected sensors. I don't believe this is the cause for your battery drain as I don't have the issue.

Yes it is normal when looking at the Sensors and Activities menu for the watch to look for all sensors.
Looks like it. I just fired up my old vivoactive. Firmware 5.80 I think. Paired it with my HR sensor. Switched sensor off. Watch was searching for it.
So, I just went on a run of just over 1h. Before the run I had 12h left for gps activities. After the run those 12 hours were down to 9hrs. In 1 hour.
It’s an estimate but you tell us nothing about what else you might have had going on - music, maps, navigation, etc
