Same here.. after this mew update in the morning.. my battery is down from 100% to 68% within 9 hours... Bluetooth off, wifi off, pulse ox off.. keeping my usual settings as before.. when i used to ha…
I use 100% battery in 20 hours on a Fenix 6s pro which I’ve only had for 10 days. Was fine before update
HI, I have just had the same thing. Updated to latest release last night with watch charged 100% and this morning its down to 62% afte sitting on my desk all night, no wifi running, no bluetooth running…
Same here, I have a 6 pro-solar and updated yesterday. The watch was changed to 100% during the update and then not even 1 day later, completely died. I do recall that it was around 20 days remaining just before it shut down completely. still, no clue what is going on.
I fully charged my watch yesterday afternoon and woke uptown 0% charge when I got up at 5:30am for an early run. My watch is only 2 months old. So disappointed.
Is the battery draining fast issue solved, mine is still doing this any suggestions pffffff
Hi All. I tried all the suggestions below and nothing worked with my Fenix 6x. Downloaded the beta13.00 version and went back to 12.20. Also did not work.
Fenix 6X sapphire
Software version 13.10
GPS 5.00
WI-FI 2.60
ANT/BLE/BT 6.11
Sensor Hub 8.00
For those having substantial drain, try to turn WiFi off. I don't mean to turn off auto upload but the entire thing. Something fishy is going on with Wifi even when it's not used. It's helped me with the drain.
How do you update individual FW? I have software version 13.10, but the GPS FW is 4.80 and the WIFI is 2.60. I live pretty remote and don't have regular access to wifi, so I keep that off permanently. GPS is about the only thing I use other than BT, and I'm thinking that might be the culprit.
how did you roll back the update version?
How can I roll back to old software version?
I can confirm. The battery drain seems to be caused by WiFi on. Once it is turned off the battery drain is back to normal.
For folks wondering how to upgrade their GPS firmware from 4.80 to 5.00, please do the following:
