How to reinstall drivers into the Fenix 6X Pro Solar ?

Hello,

I have a fenix 6X Pro Solar for 2 weeks. I first try to update the software when I received it after the first boot.

Unfortunately, il was during the BIG problem in Garmin Connect.

Now the GPS is in version 0.00 and I can see a file gup3107.gcd in the RemoteSW folder. This file appears each time I connect the swatch to Garmin Connect.

It can be installed. The file does not disappear, as it is not installed. The swatch does not want to install it.

Is there a way to force the installation of the GPS driver if I have the gup3701.gcd file or a new version from the beta channel?

I think the best option for you would be to install 10.75 beta sw: https://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=15168

Follow the instructions carefully. 10.75 works nicely at least in my Pro…

If your watch is NOT an APAC (Asia Pacific) version, I agree - try installing the 10.75 Beta software package as jarivee suggested.

I have tried before the 10.75 with the 4.50 GPS and it was not good at all.

I can try it again, but I think it won't work.

Edit : I can't find the 10.75 version anymore... :(

Also if you don't want to be on the Beta, do the beta upgrade, reboot the watch after then apply to downgrade in the beta folder to get to the last non-beta version (10.10)

I have tried but it does not work at all. The file for the GPS remains in the folder and the GPS stays at 0.00 version number in about.

Did you copy the GUPDATE.GCD file from System_XXXX (XXXX is the version of sw) to the GARMIN-folder in watch and not to Remotesw-folder?

Other files can be copied to Remotesw-folder.

And yes, I did exactly what it should be for files of the beta firmware, even trying with the 10.77 version.

What happens if you go outside and try and get a GPS lock?

Nothing happens, I only have the red little thing which never goes to green.

If you restart the watch (HOLD the LIGHT button continuously down till it switches off) then press the light button to switch it on - connect to Garmin Express via USB and sync, check the version number again?
