Does anyone have any issues with maps not working on this new model? I have had problems with this and Garmin was unable to resolve, so I returned the device.
Still would like to get it if maps can be downloaded from GE as well as the built in golf maps working. They never would open for me instead saying “maps locked”.
Deleted Garmin Express, cleared the Cache on my MacBook and then downloaded Garmin Express all over again and tried once again. Same issue.
Someone in tech support did tell me to try uninstalling the maps through GE and then try all over again to sync everything. I had since returned the device so never had a chance to try it.
If it were to solve my problem, I would purchase the device again. No issue with my prior Fenix 5 or 6 models.
