I have a Fenix 6 Sapphire. My friend has same watch and his golf app he can see layout of hole (bunkers, hazards etc) My watch only shows distances to green (no map layout).
Searched everywhere - how do I get this?

I have the 6X Sapphire and I have the layout of the hole. Have you went in to golf settings and ensured that you have "Big Numbers" off? If I switch that to "on" then I only have distances.…
By turning the big numbers off sorted mine out. Thanks
Please make sure the Big Numbers feature is turned off. If on, it will prevent you from seeing the layout of the green.
Same watch or similar? Does he have the Approach S62?

I take it back... I don't golf anymore so I have not played with it

Easy way to check is to start a round and then hold the up/menu button to enter settings and then scroll down. You can also access it by hitting the top right button and select settings from there.

I have the same issue with my Fenix 6 and waiting for a reply from Garmin Support.
This is the view I would like to see, but I think Fenix 6 does not come with that option
I have the same problem. I want to have the layout of the course but for me I just get by a picture of the green.
Fenix 6 only has hole information. you need a 6x/6pro to get full course details:
6Pro shows this information for Hole:
So looks like it very much model dependant. Sort of makes sense due to difference in storage capabilities of both watches.
The original poster of this thread does say they have a 6 Sapphire (which is a Pro model).
I've never tried golf, though, so I have no idea what my 6X shows for hole information.
