Stryd metrics to Strava

On stryd support page it's says to use the Stravistix plug-in or the Strive.AI platform to see the data.

First throw me to Elevate to Strava chrome based plug-in, second strive.ai app from google appstore, (I cannot find this in google appstore) maybe due to regional restrictions!?

Has anyone managed this ? I have Fenix 6 and Stryd, on my GC app it's shows all stryd metrics (power, form, cadence, ground time etc) and I want to sync all there to strava. I'm able to sync GC activities to strava but no stryd metrics. Or should I have Strava Premium for all that ?

I have a 6X, Stryd and Strava premium. Strava does not handle running power or running dynamics. I think the data is there, in the fit file from Garmin Connect, but Strava does nothing with it.

As for the plug-ins mentioned, I think these are Chrome browser extensions that only apply to Chrome for desktop, not mobile. I have not used them myself.

Thank you, I was hoping that Strava could handle Stryd metrics but not.

Strava does handle running power. This can been seen when using the Stryd app with the Apple Watch. Stryd has indicated that the issue is with Garmin not sharing that power data with Strava....

I just exported a file from Strava that originated from Garmin Connect with Stryd Zones CIQ. All the Stryd data is in the file that Strava possesses, but it is stored as "developer data" rather than as native power. So Strava is sent the data, but chooses not to use it.

Here is the file exported from Strava and opened up in the DCR Analyzer. All the Stryd data is there. It won't re-import to GC as it is considered a duplicate...

You can get the Stryd running power metric into Strava, but nothing else.

1. Load Garmin activity into Runalyze.

2. Export Runalyze TCX.

3. Import Runalzye TCX into Strava.

You'll have the exact same activity but with the added Stryd average power metric.

Yes, uploading the FIT file directly from the Stryd pod will provide power data, but you will not get any other data (GPS, HR, etc.). Using the method I outlined above will give you power data and all other data recorded by your Garmin that can be imported to Strava.

Do we know if there’s any enhancement request to get Stryd Power added when imported from Garmin Connect (through the "developer data")? I would like to give my vote for such an enhancement).

Nothing that I'm aware of. I'm happy to use the Stryd app and Power Centre for my Stryd power analysis. But I'm 99% cyclist, 1% runner, so I don't have much data and certainly no useful trends to analyse.
