Anyone know how the performance stats/handicap works on the golf app? Seems to change handicap a lot every game

Handicap seems to change a lot every game even though I have 70 plus rounds loaded? Any idea how the performance stats/ handicap works?

The Garmin handicap seems completely off. You can roughly calculate your own with your 20 latest scores, take your 8 best average and minus 72 (there is some capping of blow out holes, but this is still way more accurate than what I see on Garmin Connect).

I've included a link below, would be great if someone from Garmin looked at this - pretty simple stuff.
