Guys,
It`s not really something to be proud of, but check this track my F6XPro created today. It`s kind of my personal record for track inaccuracy.
Orange: today`s track
Blue: old activity over the same course
I dare you to beat that!

Maybe an inner ear infection might cause that? Have you been feeling slightly off balance while running? (just joking obviously lol)
I wish i could understand what you mean but ok i assume it is a software thing.... Which is a good thing.... I guess i will continue to have it right?
How about that

WOW! Touche! Looks like we have a strong competitor here! As far as I can see this is Greece, so probably it is local/common problem that we faced.

That's certainly a curiosity. Obvious questions:
I have had a couple of tracks that started off at Lat/Long 0/0 in the past but that was quickly dealt with following a call to Garmin Support. Otherwise, no complaints.
As the original two had an almost perfect positional shift, it sounds like either
a) the satellites had a time sync issue (as the time is used to calculate position)
b) a mathematical error (hence miscalculating the position)
I didn't have it but I use GPS only, but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it - but as I said, I live in a very rural area.
Basically what I meant was that for a little while the Fenix forgot how to count :)
It is the very first activity after the update to v10.10.
How can i say if i had a good lock. I have received the message about a gps lock (green tick) very fast as always. No difference there. But what it actually recorder is ridiculous....
No i haven't contacted garmin support yet since i know it is cause by v10.10. All my previous activities 3 months now were very good and i was pretty happy about gps.
Bloody hell you must be running fast to run on the surface of the water, Or are you not telling us who you really are :) :)
I agree it is not a good record.
It has long been suggested that you 'soak' the GPS for 15 to 20 minutes after an update (to ensure the CPE file is fully refreshed I assume).
That might be moot now that you have done an activity but I would suggest you do soak the GPS before you go out next.
Do another activity and let us know the outcome.

Even more reason to test again then contact Garmin support if it persists.
