Guys,
It`s not really something to be proud of, but check this track my F6XPro created today. It`s kind of my personal record for track inaccuracy.
Orange: today`s track
Blue: old activity over the same course
I dare you to beat that!

Maybe an inner ear infection might cause that? Have you been feeling slightly off balance while running? (just joking obviously lol)
I wish i could understand what you mean but ok i assume it is a software thing.... Which is a good thing.... I guess i will continue to have it right?
How about that
This activity was done by technical department of Garmin in Greece. They tested the watch on action.
Perversely mine was OK, and it was under a set of pylons that normally screw things up. Perhaps it shifted it back :) :)
That article is from February 2016, so I think it is not valid for 2020. This has not caused this problem on gps track. I did a 61.4 km ride last night and the track was very good...
my cyrillic is not good bus is this in russia. i had a client once with a GPS application that also complained about messed up GPS. Seems like in russia especially around land marks GPS yammers are used
This is not Russia, this is Bulgaria- Sofia!
I get a position drift sometimes too - https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/5239416687 - this is from today on the 945 running the same 4.40 gps fw as the fenix 6 - but once it happened pretty similar to what you've got (a serious shift).
Unfortunately, it is what it is...
today:
yesterday:
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/5234209741
good thing though - the distance was comparable - 20.25k and 20.26k on the same track, so at least the 945 was consistent :-)
Yes, I can beat you. This is 2km triangle I'm regularly doing. First time in six years with Garmin I had so inaccurate track. Start and finish were at the same place. Start is way off. then each next circle was close to the real streets, finish is much closer to where it should have been.
Elevation is also way off.
Garmin 945.
Pace/distance are correct since I was using Stryd with Always On configured.

Give the watch a dose of antibiotics lol
Try wearing it on the opposite wrist. My tracks are consistently offset on my left wrist, but dead on when worn on my right wrist (F6 Pro). I emailed back and forth with Garmin tech support and they didn't have a cause or solution.
