HRM-run lifetime and alternatives

Hi there, in the last 4 years I already changed 2 HRM from garmin...one was in bundle with Fenix3 and a new one I bought in 2018 just died. I have replaced the battery it was working for 2 days now my F6 Pro does`t recognize it...and also my phone (with ANT+) doesn`t. How often do you replace your HRM sensors? Is this normal? I am looking for an alternative but I dont see others than Wahoo ticker X with running dynamics...

I still have my HRM-Run from December 2015, which was bundled with the Fenix 3.

Changed the battery twice, I think. Still going strong.

Still got my HRM-Run, the one with the removal module, from several years back. I have changed the strap once or twice though.
