Backlight Fenix 6X Sapphire - "no timeout" does not work???

Hi. Trying to have my backlight 'always on', not during activity, so I configured the 'no timeout' option in the backlight menu.

I would expect that once the screen is on it won't turn off anymore (as long as I don't press the light button). But whatever I do the backlight is still going off.

I have gestures, keys and alerts turned on, also tried them off, but still don't succeed in having the backlight constantly on.

I know it will effect battery life but some days I just want to be able to have the backlight not turning off.

Can anyone help me how to get this working?

I think the "always on" setting works in activity mode only (or in menus). When at the watch face, it will always time out. I don't have the F6, but on my FR735XT it is exactly the same.

Thanks for your respons. But I already figured it out... :-)

I need to switch everything off: keys, gestures and alerts, and put the timeout at 'no timeout'. Then, I should use the light button to switch backlight on and thén it will not turn off anymore until I manually switch it off.

That did the trick. Thanks for your comment, again.

Hey Delano, did this really work out for you?

Because I have the same settings, but mine still turns off after a couple of minutes whenever I receive a notification or when I push any button…
