Custom auto pause issue

I read several topics where people complain about auto pause function in walking and hiking. I had the same problem myself with 6x pro, every time I stopped and then restarted walking the watch went into pause and didn't start back.

Thinking it could be due to a too low threshold setting, I tried using "custom" to set a higher threshold.

My surprise was, I cannot set a threshold higher than 36 min/km, which is not a lot, especially when hiking or climbing. Even more surprising, the default setting for walking is 60 min/km but if I try to edit it, still I cannot set it higher than 36, not even back to 60.

Is this a bug? Is there a way to do that?

The lowest you can set it to is 1.60 km/h instead of 5/km/h

1.60 is almost perfect for hiking, I would prefer 1.5 as some steep hills with 15 kilos on my back I'm so slow

But it works fine

Ok, but the walking default setting is 60 min/km (1 km/h): if I edit it to whatever, I cannot set it back to 60 as the counter only goes up to 36. I can't get the logic behind this.

Hah didn't see Walk, as I use Hike

Walk can be set to 2km/h why it's not the same as Hiking I don't know, For me there's no lower and effectively if you set it back 36 is the highest

Found a little trick to raise - a little bit - the auto pause threshold.

If the activity has set "pace" as preferred visualization, you can set a threshold only as high as 36:50 min/km. By changing the visualization to "speed", one can set it as low as 1.6 km/h (1 mi/h) which translates as 37:30 min/km... so you gain 40 sec/km just by changing visualization.

I have the same issue with my fenix 6. The activity is not tracked suddenly sometimes. I hate this option and I will never use this anymore.
