I too am experiencing the same 0105 error when trying to connect to my home wifi on my Fenix 6S which I bought in March this year. Does anyone have a fix or workaround to share? Thanks in advance.

I get either a 0105 error code or "device is busy" error message when I try to connect to wifi. I checked the wifi modem but it is working fine as my other devices like mobile phone,  tablet, laptop are able to connect.

Note that the watch will only connect to a 2.4GHZ network. You need to check whether or not your modem is broadcasting a combined 2,4GHZ and 5GHZ channel. If it is they need to be separated. You should then be able to connect to the 2.4 GHz network.

  • A slight variant would be to establish a second network that is dedicated to 2.4 Ghz and pair 2.4-only devices to that network and allow your principle network to pick a band for other devices.  Ultimately this simplifies logon and optimizing speed.  Many IoT devices only connect to a 2.4Ghz network.

I fixed the issue with my tactix delta after having the same problem. It's just a matter of changing the security on your network to WEP 128, and since then my Garmin can connect to dedicated 2.4 network, i have the other band 5g separate and the watch will not even pick it up as network. So change the setting and you solved the problem.
