Widget in IOS 14 and iPad app?

Garmin,

How about a widget added to IOS 14 where we can see stats for the day in a simple glance on the screen.  Look at the example Nike had in the Apple WWDC presentation.  Also, can we please get a full iPad app?  It makes sense to do this since the Macs that will be produced with Apple silicon will run the iPad app natively.  So you get a Mac app as well.

    Where's your stats on this?

I don't have them of course, but I don't need them either.  Using ratios, portions and the law of averages, common sense tells us the numbers would be very similar.  If .6% of the population has AB negative blood, what makes you think the amount of people with that blood type would be significantly different because they use a Garmin device?  Odds are the percentages would be very similar. There is absolutely nothing that suggest someone who uses a Garmin device is more likely to use iOS over Android or vice versa.  Making an educated guess, I suspect more iOS users will use an Apple watch over anyone else based on product loyalty and people's tendencies to stick with like components.

  • DC Rainmaker has mentioned in discussions a few times that the browser statistics for visits to his site support higher iphone ownership in his followers than the overall average.

Garmin watches are reasonably expensive, especially the ones in this specific forum.

Iphones are also expensive; plenty of people who'd like an iphone but don't find it affordable. It's not at all unreasonable that Garmin owners might have a higher proportion of iphone ownership than average. There is an obvious mechanism!
