Rev A vs. Rev B watches, does 6S Rev B exist?

So after playing a game of display roulette myself between a 6 and 6S, it's becoming clear there are two sub-models of Fenix 6 at least, and they're marked on the box with their hardware revision near the Garmin P/N.

My Fenix 6 Sapphire came in a box marked as "Rev B" (also identifiable by the Firstbeat logo on the box)
We've had three Fenix 6S Sapphires under "Rev A", all with limited viewing angle on the LCD and a washed-out/blue backlight

Has anyone seen a Rev B 6S?

hmm i wonder if there is even more changes between rev a and b, maybe HR sensor?

this reminde that i will never buy any stuff day one, i will wait for long term reviews and see what users say.

I mean, it's been almost a year since it was released - I'd hoped (hah!) that the manufacturing and specs had been ironed out by now, but apparently not...

Nice try, but those Rev A / Rev B notes on the outside packaging are representations of the version of the packaging used, not the contents. In other words, nothing to do with the manufacturing of the watch.

Breaking my heart here! Not that it makes much difference with e-commerce, but was really hoping we had a solid answer to why there was so much (seemingly random) variability...
