CIQ Data Field gone after reboot

Am I doing something wrong or is it a bug? Have two CIQ Data Fields connected to my running activity (Stryd Zones and Run Power). After every reboot (switching off/on or firmware update) of the watch these data fields are gone and replaced with a simple timer field. Find it rather annoying having to add these data fields after every reboot.

Same here after updating 9.0 => to 9.94. Didn't expect such behavior.

I use a rolling average pace CIQ field and I'm not seeing it - but I do see it if I put them in the Navigation datafields (for when running a map)

Have you tried another CIQ field to see if it's just those two - I'm using https://apps.garmin.com/en-US/apps/28fdec7f-3807-4d24-b85a-4c86b40501f4 and it doesn't do that for me - maybe try that one as a test?

I use Stryd Zones and it has not gone missing for me during months of firmware updates and reboots. Do you have the latest version installed and is it configured correctly with your account name?

Yes, settings in Connect app are adjusted. Also get all the Stryd data in the .fit file and Garmin Connect. Being a newbie with Garmin (coming from Polar) I wondered whether I missed a specific action on watch to save modifications to activity settings like e.g. adding additinal data fields. Didin't see anyhting about it in the owners manual.

As long as the Stryd is paired with the watch - ANT+ is best - and you have the Stryd Zones data field included in the activity on one of the screens somewhere then all should be good.

I do recall problems in the past with Stryd, maybe when the 6X was new, and the Stryd data field needed updating, or maybe it was with my 5X+. I don't remember the details of which watch and when, but the behaviour was as you describe, with the data field going missing. But I don't think I've seen the problem this year at all.

Is your watch also fully up to date with the latest firmware? Current live version is 9.00.

I can't comment about Run Power as I don't use it.

Are you still encountering this issue or did you found out a solution? My fenix 6 is fully up to date and I also encounter this issue.

Problem is solved. Guess with another firmware update the problem was solved. At least didn't have these issues any more. Followed all subsequent FW updates since last year, right now still running on 16.70
