I created a roller blade activity by copying running and renaming it. Is it possible to change the type of activity by garmi Expres did not include this data for running? Just as a roller skate? I will be grateful for your help. He doesn't want to change it manually every time.
It's hilarious that multi sport watch costing almost 1000 euros doesn't have this basic functionality 
I also would nees this basic functionality and cannot really believe that Garmin doesn't implement it. What is their excuse?
Let me give you a for instance, and first let me state I'm not an expert. 
But I tired to make a stretching activity when I first got my garmin (from using Polar) and could never get it to not have a mileage data field. I wasn't copying running, but don't remember which one it was, cardio or something, but when I would view the activity afterwords on Garmin connect, it has the mileage field showing a blank, I tried a few different things to fix it and nothing seemed to fit what I wanted.
I love tinkering with my garmin, putting beta builds on etc, how many average users are willing to put the effort into figuring this out? I spent hours and couldn't get what I wanted. Not to say I'm perfect, its just not easy.
How hard would it be to have more profiles? I'll gladly trade my SUP for something more useful for me.
To make myself more clear. As watch is missing very many normal activities, I would like to be able to create new activity based on some existing activity, rename it and ALSO change the type. Currently one can change the type only manually in Garmin Connect after tracking and saving a new activity instance. It's very cumbersome. Third party apps can save the correct type, so why can't the standard ones? In my opinion, there shouldn't be any excuse for that. I wouldn't want to use any third party apps because their quality is often quite bad and standard fields are just fine for me. So only type is missing.
