Fenix 6X Pro Autoshot detection.

Software version 9.00.

I haven't had any problem when I was on 9.00.  I'm on 9.94 and played 36 holes this weekend and it worked great.  Fenix 6X Sapphire

Hi, thanks for your reply. Can I just ask you if there is anything I need to turn on except ‘scoring’, perhaps I am missing something? As I said it was working fine prior to us being on lockdown. I have been in touch with Garmin Support and they are looking into it.

Hi, I have the same problem with the fenix 6x pro. I claimed the watch and received a new one. The new fenix 6x pro worked 3 rounds of golf and then the same error occurred again. So I sent the second watch back and am now looking for another golf watch.

used it yesterday Fenix 6 Saphire (Beta 10.00) and worked well.

I recently upgraded from Fenix 5 to Fenix 6 Sapphire. I've played a couple of rounds and auto-shot detection just won't work. Any tips.

I contacted Garmin and they suggested a Master Reset an to re-pair with the Connect app. I did that and still not working.

Software Version 16.7 won't work.

Everything else works great.

The watch has to be on your forward wrist for shot detection to work well. I play golf left-handed, but I like to wear my watch on my left wrist. That means the auto shot detection is spotty. If I move the watch to my right wrist, it works almost every time.

Thanks! I'll give it a shot and hope this fixes it. I am currently using it on my back wrist.

That's the problem, for sure.
