Lost spring bar on 6 Pro

Any decent jewelry shop should have quality replacements -- it's a standard size.

I think that’s the problem. It isn’t a standard size. It might be 22mm but its diameter seems to be non standard.

I used the Nick Mankey bar until I got the replacement, it was more secure than the unmodified original Garmin one, even with the smaller diameter. 

Great thanks. I have started using a spare Omega one I have for my mechanical watch. Works OK but is loose. The Nick Mankey strap pulls the pin so makes it tight but need a proper replacement. Did you use the part number above? 

I contacted the support and they sent me a couple. One to replace the missing one and one spare.

From another post I am looking to find a tube to put over the pin with the Nick Mankey strap to stop this happening. I have had it happen 4 times. Only once lost the pin. It only happens to me as I take the watch off my wrist.

Do you undo the hook each time or just stretch the strap over your wrist? I undo the hook each time to release the tension and have never had an issue.

Nope. When taking it off I just stretch it over my hand, works fine if you are careful. Its the accidental catching the watch on something like a golf bag, clothing or anything else, that then stretches the strap, that then catches on the spring bar and pulls it off. Oops

This is just an update. Garmin sent me free of charge some replacement spring bars which arrived today. Once again excellent customer service from Garmin. 

I must admit I am not sure I want to use my Nick Mankey strap anymore, its very much a risk. 

You can read the conclusion in my topic I created a few weeks ago, there are some ways to make it more secure. I personally went with the nail polish option.
