New Bike Mount Bracket for F6 by Garmin

For those who have been asking for this, I just received an e-mail from Garmin that they now have a bike mount kit for all F6 model watches:

Hmm, what would I lose if I mounted it but didn’t use an external HRM? Training load/status, recovery advisor, I assume - anything else?

Those you mention plus VO2 max and FTP (which require power meter and heart rate) are the only ones I can think of offhand.

Are there in the box all three part for Fenix 6S, 6 and 6X?

I do not see any safety strap (like the Edge series).

It appears so, yes. So I just need to find someone with a 6S or 6X who wants to buy the kit and I'll offer them a deal for the 22mm F6 adapter since I have dozens of the quarter turn bike mounts already.

I just ordered the adapter for my 6X. How about I trade you, I will send you the adapter for the 6 in exchange for two quarter turn mounts (with the rubber bands)?

Also calories, VO2 Max, probably intensity minutes, training effect...

Some of those things might not be completely lost (I'm not sure), but won't be as accurate as they would be with HR data.
