Running Dynamics Pod does not sync to Fenix 6X , update please!

Any new post on the RD Pod errors. Last post was 7 months ago. I just purchased a Fenix 6X Sapphire & Running Dynamic Pod. I will NOT sync!! Surely there is a fix b y now????

  • What is the problem? My RD Pod works fine - there is no syncing - you need to pair the RD Pod with the watch to make them work.

    So check your connections - go to "Sensors & Accessories" - then scroll down - and there should be an RD Pod entry in that list. If not select "Add New"

    If RD Pod is not found - then either it is defective - or battery has run down. 

  • Agreed, I use my RD Pod daily with my Fenix 6 Pro and have had no issues with the data being read and showing in my running stats. Check that you have Running Dynamics screens showing in your activity.

    note:

    I add the Combo Running Power data field by GarminLabs to my watch.

    You will probably need to shake or move the RD Pod around when you try to do the "Add New" to ensure it is active. As mentioned above, if it is not picked up as a sensor then the battery is flat or RD Pod is faulty.

  • No problems with mine connecting, either.

    You have to shake the RD Pod to "turn it on" before the watch will see it

    I tried:

    1. Replacing battery, even though the  old one had 7 of 8 bars. Shook pod before & during sync.

    2. "Settings / Sensors & Accessorize / Add New / RD Pod" -  I got the message "walk around to activate sensor". Walked 2 - 5 min. got nothing, Hit "retry"  several times, still nothing. Did this indoors & out.,still nothing.

    3 "Settings / Sensors & Accessorize / Add New / Search All sensors" - I got "no sensors found". Repeated retry several times still nothing!

    How often do you get a bad pod??
