Fenix 6x Pro Solar won't connect with iPhone 11 Pro Max

I am pulling my hair out.  I have a long story. However, the crooks of it are simply this - the watch will not connect to my iPhone.  I've updated, I've downloaded, I've patched-up, patched-on, cooked the dinner, read the manual, listened to the dealer and plugged-in, even had my watch exchanged because I complained the unit was faulty and still not a sausage (even with a new watch out of the box today).  I've followed the recommendations here in this forum.  I'm at a loss.  Anyone actually managed to work out how to get this watch paired up with an iPhone?  I've got iOS 13.5.  My D2 Charlie pairs in seconds.  This F6X Pro ...............well.............!

    I had this same thing happen with my iphone 11 Pro Max.  I found out that if you have Garmin Connect IQ app installed the connect would not talk to my F6x Pro.  Remove the Connect IQ app.  See if that works.  It did for me but I was very frustrated until i figured it out.

    My friend I have the same phone & same solar fenix,

    I have no problem, but I advise u first to check connection of ur solar watch with other phone device,

    1-if it's working well then U need maybe to factory reset ur iPhone 

    2-if the watch is not working with the other test phone device probably u have an issue or fault with ur watches Bluetooth chip

    All what above depends on ur test ur watch with other phone

    One more thing - 

    Check to see if the phone shows the Garmin 6x Pro in the bluetooth settings but Garmin Connect doesn't recognize it.  Mine was visible to the phone but Garmin Connect would not recognize it as paired regardless of resets on the phone or watch.  Once Garmin ConnectIQ was removed - everything worked like a charm.  Good luck!!

    Thank you to all - it's fixed.  I spent some time with Garmin UK online Chat Support.  The guy was great.  Basically, I had to turn off and back on my watch and phone.  Having made sure there was no F6X listed on 'My Devices' in bluetooth.  When I turned everything back on, I reinstalled the Garmin Connect.  Chat Support told me that the phone and the watch must be looking for each other.  If one isn't there, it won't work.  Support said you have to connect their stuff via the app.

    But dont You loose all You data in Connect if You delete Connect ?
