Dropout Fenix 6 Series Software Version 9.00 (258033d) Exakt Power Meter

I have many power meter dropout on my new Garmin Fenix 6 sapphire, Issue do not occur on my Fenix 3HR.

I therefore presume issue is related to my new watch?

What can I do, any other with the same issue?

Power meter is connected through Bluetooth.

Firmeware on power meter and fenix 6 is updated.

Power meter type: SRM Exakt Single

I have dropout issues since 9.00 too, but only indoor activities and ANT+ sensor (Stryd footpod).

Yes it looks like that as well. I've did testing this morning connecting power meter directly to Iphone with Wahoo APP. I kept my Garmin connected as well to the power meter. I had no drop out on my phone with full Track over 50 minutes ride, however the connection to Fenix 6 became even worse approx 1/5 of the ride was recorded with power value.

Connect the SRM with ANT+ .

I will check on my way home today if that will solve issue. however, I still want to resolve if there is something that is wrong with the watch.

Three days ago I've made a full factory wipe and set everything from scratch like in a new watch. Since then I have no dropouts. Maybe something messed up with 9.0 update around the sensors. If you have the time give it a shot!

I will give it a try, issue remain with SRM and ANT+ so I guess I do not have any other options.

If this doesn't work I will return watch as defect to shop, and use my old Fenix 3HR.

I too experience Bluetooth dropouts - on my headsets. Have tried three different (iPods pro, Jabra Elite Active 75t and Sony WH1000 XM2) all with latest firmware. When playing music, it takes between seconds to 15 minutes before the phone disconnects all Bluetooth devices. Am on FW 9.0 on the Fenix 6X Sapphire. Have tried almost everything (except full factory reset) and nothing helps. Hardware issue?

I did a factory reset and did not help. Will take the watch to the shop.

Pretty sure this was a hardware issue, but will soon find out. There is still a small probability for buggy 9.00 firmware causing the Bluetooth dropouts. Will try the new watch using the existing firmware before eventually upgrading.
