GPS problem in Swimrun/Multisport with GPS 4.31, but not in 4.10?

My two first swimruns this year ended with one of the swim sahowing up as 1m, even though they are 170m. I am on GPS 4.31.

My wife has a Fenix 6 as well but she is on GPS 4.1, and she has not ended up with the same problem. Her open water swims looks way better.

How do I downgrade to GPS version 4.1 from 4.31?

I haven't done any swimrun activities so cannot comment on that - my last swimrun was a couple of months back and it's too cold to wear a swimrun wetsuit now. However, I have been swimming regularly and not seen any problems.

Might be an idea to log a swim only and see if the problem persists.

Talked to Garmin, it's a known issue that swims in swimruns sometimes gets reduced to 1m...

I still havnt found a way to revert to GPS 4.10

Hi. I have all the earlier beta files. But I am not sure how to remove 4.35 and install the older 4.10.

I’m having an issue where my swim at the swimrun/multi sport activities gets all jagged.

I raised this to Customer service and they don’t understand it.

I sent files , images... did all possible they suggested that I should wear my watch under my swim hat.

Seriously?!

Sorry but I’m looking for a proper fix.

For some things customer service is not the best place. I have raised this with the beta team [email protected]. I suggest you do the same.

However, while I do see a more jagged track when using swimrun, the distance and pace is not affected.
