Perhaps Garmin will add this someday with a fw update. Some people have already sent this suggestion to Garmin. You can also sent a note about that to Garmin.

Have you checked settings on the Garmin Connect app. These are possible if headphones are connected to phone and audio alerts are enabled on Connect monbile app. However, I don't know for a direct connection between the watch and headphone...

I think it is technically possible because it has already been implemented in the Forerunner series.

This functionallity isn´t available on the F6 series, (yet).

sorry, it was possibly misleading, so now with the Beta 9.9x and Fenix6x it works.

Yep. Works great with the 9.9X betas. By the time I had navigation, pace, and interval alerts, they were coming thick and fast.
