Don't buy from Amazon!

That's unusual. Was this an amazon prime purchase?

My experience with amazon (since '98) is that they will bend over backwards to assist the customer. It's surprising when I see someone that has a bad experience. Also, the clickbait-style subject is a bit over the top, IMO.

I received a used one.  Had the same problem.  Make sure when you choose the seller, it's a good one.  I try to always use the ships and sold by Amazon or a seller with 98% or above good ratings and solid return policy.

It's the 3rd party sellers that screw people over.

I received an empty box once for a gift purchase of a Vivoactive 3 Music (the empty box is still on my desk) from a third party seller.  Amazon was slow to close case so did a credit card charge back, Amazon closed the case a few days later. Avoiding 3rd party sellers ever since whenever possible.

I just did a credit card claim.

I have the box, can Garmin remotely deactivate it..? 

Possibly with proof of purchase. Worth giving them a call.

I dropped them an email. Amazon pretty much said take it up with credit card company. 

They did use to have good service, I only had to use it once before.

I won't be using them again.

What are you meant to do open the package with a policeman? Video it perhaps?

Can't believe they don't weigh or check the parcel.

There could be a scam going on because the same happened to me, however I bought my Fenix pro directly from GARMIN, and UPS delivered an empty box. It took almost 28 days, lots of emails and phone calls to sort it out. I received the replacement yesterday.
