auto zoom out during navigation, when off course is turned off, how to turn back on

Hi.

I use the navigation a lot.

Lately I have been running a lot in very unfamiliar terrain, and rely heavily on the course that I follow.

Sometimes it happens that I need to deviate from the course.

It used to be that the map was automatically zooming out when off course, and would do so until a part of the course is visible with your current location, and zoom out further if deviating more off course.

Lately this does not happen anymore, I now have to manually zoom out, which is quite a burden when trying to run at the same time.

I have checked normal map settings, and auto zoom is turned on. I can not find anything in navigation settings.

From the activity navigation settings I can not find anything related.

What happened?

    There are specific settings for every activity. Once in there, check map->auto zoom

    I am having the same problem with auto zoom not working anymore, although it was working a few months ago. I’ve just moved to a new area so am relying on the navigation more and finding I need to divert from the intended paths as they don’t exist on the ground or are blocked and auto zoom would be great to be able to find an alternative route option. 

    Did you find a resolution to this?

    Does anyone else know how the auto zoom feature is meant to work?

    Have you both updated to sw 27.00?

    My Enduro does not react on the “auto zoom” settings any longer. Unfortunately I dont remember when the problem started, before or after updating from 26.00 to 27.00.
