The Dozenrun app shows there's a connection to 4 gps satellites. Is there a possibility to connect to more than 4 satellites to increase accuracy? Or is this intentionally limited to save battery life?

The number remains unchanged whether I choose single gps or gps in combination with glonass or galileio
Isn’t only the gps signal quality shown (5/4/3/2/1/0)?
„GPS uses same indicator as iPhone for GPS signal. 5=full, 4=usable, 3=poor, 2=unused, 1= last location & 0 = no GPS“
even in completely open sky it will stay at 4. what do you have to do to get full?
Ask the app developer if the app is able to show more.
Cannot tell you, because I do not know the app. Contact the app developer or wait for some other users, who know the app...
Have you tried in a different location - Maybe a place where the sky is more open?
0-5 is the quality/accuracy - not the number of sats.
The watch doesn't report the number of fixed satellites. It just gives a hint about the quality of the GPS fix by displaying values between 0 and 4. We don't know any more detail about the GPS status.
However, older Fenix watches like the first two version had this feature as I know. I'm just wishing Garmin puts the same in their newer watches but no move since Fenix 3, yet. But that's definitely some exciting data...
I just tried Garmin's default GPS datafield (under Other Fields), and got 5 bars (indoors in wooden house).
