Yesterday while using the SUP Activity while canoeing, we got out of the canoe on a shoreline for a break. Up ahead was a powerline tower with a large nest on top that we wanted to navigate to and I was hoping to get a sense of the distance to it so I went to the map on my watch and pointed the 12 o clock of the watch at the tower. I had my map set to North Up and that's when I realized that my location icon (the arrowhead type shape) wasn't rotating no matter which direction I was pointed in. I opened up Sight N Go from the navigation settings and it was stuck at a certain heading and would not rotate. Trying it again at home now and everything is working as it should, but this was a pretty big fail for a mapping watch in my first attempt to use it for navigation. Is there a fix?
EDIT: Got curious and attempted to reproduce the problem with the SUP renamed to Canoe activity: compass spins in Sight N Go and position icon rotates when the app is open but haven't hit start yet. After hitting start the position icon stops moving and compass does not move in Sight N Go. Tried the same thing in MTB activity and everything works correctly. Definitely a bug in the SUP activity.
