There's nothing we users of the Garmin forum, nor even the folks at Garmin, can do to make your Saudi bank card work on Garmin Pay. Saudi Arabia currently has zero banks that are participating in Garmin Pay. If you want your bank to work with Garmin Pay, you'll need to contact your bank and request that they add Garmin Pay support, or acquire a card from a different bank in another country that offers Garmin Pay support.
Agree with 5599657, I have visited them and informed me the same, nothing to be add it by Saudi Arabia Banks, Garmin has to add the counters for card pay support so we can add our account as per other counters
Your bank(s) are lying to you then.
It is up to each individual bank to sign up to support this - It even says this on the Garmin Pay website.
In New Zealand there's only one bank I'm aware of that supports FitPay (the subsystem Garmin use to provide payments). Other banks, even though they support Contactless Payment, don't support it on Garmin. So it's not a "per country" thing.
I have no authority to speak on behalf of Garmin or on behalf of the bank. I'm just a client. You both deal with it and make it work. However, to be fair It is the responsibility of Garmin. I bought this watch from them and not the bank. The bank told me all cards Visas and Mastercards are accepted internationally. Apple pay and all other apps they get the approvals themselves because they actually care about their clients. Garmin directing clients to the banks or the banks directing the clients to garmin does not make sense. It is not the client responsibility to chase this and follow it up. If Garmin wants this feature they should work for it and enable it in all countries and approve it by all banks or at least lower their prices in these countries that Garmin Pay does not work. It is really stupid that Garmin pushing clients to go to banks and the banks pushing the clients to go to Garmin while the client has no authorization to speak on behalf of any. At the end of the day I bought the watch from Garmin not from the bank.
That's exactly what they said to me as well. It is really stupid that Garmin pushing clients to go to banks and the banks pushing the clients to go to Garmin while the client has no authorization to speak on behalf of any. At the end of the day I bought the watch from Garmin not from the bank.
