8.78 Change Log Notes:

Brought in improvements for grit and flow.
Fixed an issue where the device could crash on the map page during an expedition activity.
Fixed an issue where the device would crash while powering down if battery saver was enabled.
Fixed an issue where the device could crash during the multisport activity creation wizard.

Current beta peripheral software version numbers below. New versions are indicated in red.

GPS: 4.30
Sensor Hub: 5.07
ANT/BLE/BT (Pro models): 5.04
ANT/BLE (non-Pro models): 2.11
Wi-Fi (Pro models only): 2.60

Please note, the beta updates released on these forums are not suitable for APAC region devices.

Installed it. Noticed the watch did a reboor before installation, I don't recall seeing that before, but it worked. Will test later this weekend and post results. Thanks for the beta.

My F6 Pro still won't let me access my wallet. Worked fine before 8.76. Emailed the beta team about it on each of the last two updates but haven't heard anything back.

Garmin Express replace Sensor Hub 5.07 with 5.06, it's normal?

Oh, I also meant to say that I went on a run yesterday with 8.77 (GPS+GLONASS) and the GPS track was GREAT! Best GPS track I've gotten on this watch so far (which is about equal to every GPS track I was normally getting with my Instinct, but baby steps). No tracks cutting corners, showing me running in rivers, or running through people's living rooms. Thunderstorms all day today so I won't be able to test out tracking with 8.78 but if it is the same as 8.77 I'll be very happy.

So, good job Garmin!

This part is missing in all link above because you deleted when decided to pull 8.76:

Changes made from version 8.75 to 8.76

Added support for Grit and Flow metrics to cycling profiles.
Improved optical heart rate during hiking activities. (Requires 5.07 Sensor Hub)
Made several improvements to Indoor Climb.
Updated the UX layouts for steps, floors, stress, intensity minutes and pulse ox widgets.
Updated performance, training status, body battery, respiration and calories to use the new page indicators.
Made several other bug fixes and code improvements

Obviously elevation plot bug is still here, i report my post from previous beta thread:

Is it possible that no one use navigation activity and elevation plot page? No one noticed that starting navigation from point A to point B (a is lower than B), result in this elevation plot page?

The only way to mitigate this bug is remove gmapdem1.img file from Garmin folder but this will result in this elevation plot:

I'm reporting this bug since years and affect all Garmin map devices, how is it possible that no one notice this and Garmin developers/engineers continue to ignore all my report and those of other users ???

Quick question, if the ANT, WIFI, Sensor Hub, etc have not been updated, is it safe just to copy the main file and ignore the rest, OR do you just copy all the files to the appropriate folders?

I only copy the System file to update to 8.78... Can you keep the sensor hub 5.07? Garmin Express replace mine with 5.06 everytime I sync.
