FYI - Fenix 6s Pro Music dropouts - fixed

I went for an outdoor run on the weekend.  Normally I bring my phone and pair it my wireless earbuds (Galaxy Buds) and this works great.  However my phone was jangling all over my shorts so I downloaded a bunch of music on my Fenix 6s pro.  As soon as I started running, the music would randomly cut out.  It was driving me nuts, so much so, that I went back home.  A quick web search indicated that I needed to put my watch on my right wrist, as that will align with bluetooth on my earbuds.  Problem solved and I was running again.  Just an FYI if anyone else comes across this issue.

  • I have the buds and have a better solution that allows you to continue to wear your watch on the left hand.  It appears that both Left and Right can connect to the phone.  So what you need to do is take out the left bud and close the case so that the right bud is not seen by the watch.  Connect your watch to music, ie start the music from your watch.  Since only the left one is out, it will BT connect with the left one.  Once connected to the left bud, take out the right bud from the case and walla, you are good to go with the watch connected BT to the left bud.  This was past on to me by anther user, (don't recall who) so I am not taking credit for this, just sharing.

  • Thanks a bunch! That's a much better solution.  The watch felt weird on my right wrist.  Thanks again.

  • I have the same problem regardless of which wrist I wear my watch on. I had to take my watch off and hold it in my hand because the music seemed to work better when my watch was more central in front of my body.
