Usually one wouldn't buy the $100-cheaper model without maps, unless they don't want maps. If you wanted maps, then you bought the incorrect model. Only option at that point is to return it (if you still can) or sell it, and buy the correct model with maps. To use my favorite car analogy: You shouldn't buy a Prius to tow a boat trailer with.
