Problems with altimeter/elevation: the accumulated value is incorrect (far too high)

For about a week I have the following problem with my Fenix 6 Sapphire: The watch shows far too many vertical meters in total (compared to Fenix 5s, Etrex 30 or Komoot - up to about 40 percent deviation !!!). Calibrating does not help. The single values are largely correct. Does anyone know what could be the cause?

My guess is that after the last firmware update, something goes wrong with the accumulation of the altitude/elevation. Before that, the watch was always accurate.

This happens from time to time and everytime I get an elevation that is deviating from normal there is a noise in the altitude graph. Very annoying!

My experiences with the deviating elevation refer to cycling and mountain biking (I haven't been running and (ski-)mountainiering since the last update). The difference in cumulative elevation occurs in my case with every activity (now over 10 activities). Yes, it is really annoying!
