A couple of issues.
1. Can't control volume from the buds directly
2. Using the phone the buds are put in to extra bass mode (some how you are able to set equalizer modes) which are lost when using the watch.
Anyone else with Galaxy buds?

1. This isn't a feature of the Galaxy Buds. You can only pause play skip etc. Volume needs to be controlled on connected device.
2. My guess is you need the Galaxy Wearable app to enable special equalizer modes, which Fenix obviously doesn't have. This is just my strong guess.
You lose the ability to use the custom touchpad features when you are not connected to the phone, such as volume control and ambient sound. You can still use the touchpad for things like pause/play, skip, back and answering calls. You can always adjust the volume with the Garmin though.
it is a feature, pressing and holding adjusts volume, right bud for volume up, left bud for volume down
The touchpads on the Galaxy Buds do not function like that when listening to music on a Garmin. They only work to control the volume when connected to a mobile phone.
