Fenix 6x pro speed issue

Just fixed it (i hope). Updated from 6.10 to beta 8.73

When I reported the issue in November Garmin Aus sent me a replacement watch. Same issue on replacement. After followup I was told that engineers are looking at the issue. Followed up again 2 days ago and I was offered a refund.

I will give it a few days of testing the beta before I make my mind up.

A speed spike issue that registers 10s of thousand kph

How about providing some information. What are you doing when this happens? What activity?

All activities where speed is registered. Used mainly in water activities but tested in car and on bike. At some point a spike of for about 12s occurs and the speed goes thru the roof.

Would you post some links to GC activities? I've been swimming, cycling and running with my F6 and haven't seen anything like what you describe. And you've had this with two watches?
