Fenix 6 pro and 6s pro lug to lug size

Hi, I have the Fenix 5s (originally ordered the 5 but found it too big for my 165mm wrist).

Having read lots of reviews I hear the 6 and 6s have have the lug (or spring) moved closer together. Does anyone have any actual dimensions??

My 5s is about 54mm. Can anyone tell me what the 6 and 6s are??

I can’t go to the shops because they are all closed because of lockdown .

My 6 Pro measures 49mm from center springbar to center springbar and 54mm from outer edges of both opposing lugs.

About the same size wrist as you and have been wearing the 6S for 6 months and find it very comfortable and looks just right. Definitely wouldn't want the bigger 6 as I run at a competitive level and…

My wrist is similar in circumference to yours. I couldn't wear a Fenix 5x without it looking comically oversized where the F6x fits just fine.

Looking at the Garmin spec pages for each, wrist circumference recommendations clearly show the difference:

Fenix 5s with silicone band: 145-217 mm
Fenix 6s with silicone band: 108-182 mm
Fenix 5 with silicone band: 163-249 mm
Fenix 6 with silicone band: 125-208 mm
Fenix 5x with silicone band: 163-250 mm
Fenix 6x with silicone band: 127-210 mm

I would lean toward the Fenix 6 over the Fenix 6s - the Fenix 6s wears quite small and both the F6 and F6x have been scaled way down over their predecessors.

To answer your question in another way - my wrist also measures approx 165mm and I find the F6S to be a perfect fit.

Definitely wouldn't want the bigger 6 as I run at a competitive level and don't want to feel like I'm carrying a big heavy lump of metal on my wrist. And for sleep tracking you don't notice you’re wearing it.

You re welcome - for ref, don't know if you have access to a FR645, it is basically the same fit.

The lug-to-lug distance of a Forerunner 645 is 39 mm. This is nothing like the Fenix 6, which is 54 mm.
