Latest map update makes Navigate - Around Me feature extremely slow to open

fenix 6 pro, v8.10, updated all the maps (very long update) last night and then the reboot took way longer than normal (Loading Maps).

Now when I try to open Navigate - Around Me, it hangs on the "Loading Map" screen for up to 30 minutes before opening.

Yes, I have already powered down and back up twice.

Garmin support suggested resetting the watch, but I wanted to see if others were experiencing something similar and had any suggestions before I do so.

I had a similar concern with a previous version

I had to delete the cards and reload them, even a reset did not solve the problem because the card files were not deleted.

I found this to be the case every time my maps update on my 945. I just let it do it's thing for the first time and then it appears to be back to normal afterwards. I'm not familiar with the cards Alexis is referring too, but I think I'll check it out next time.

I guess he meant "maps".
