I bought an additional TOPO map from Garmin for one particular country in Europe, only to later buy their TOPO map of the whole Europe (with my watch belonging into RoW batch).
Having upgraded the watch to latest firmware and being in Europe at the time, the map initialisation / loading after restart took ages. That on its own is manageable, though I wondered what map / DEM file would the watch use while using maps for navigation. I'm aware I can choose the map myself in settings of that particular activity, though I'm not sure if the tripled DEM files (for the country, for Europe & worldwide one) could cause any issues?
That being said, what would be your best advice for safely deleting that particular country map and its related DEM file. Will I be able to easily identify it in the watch directory?
