Heart Rate Variability with Polar OH1

An HRV measurement can only be made with a chest strap. If I now take a measurement with the Polar OH1, it also works. But is the measurement correct? The OH1 does not actually support this function. Does anyone have experience with this?

I would think it's possible; there's a CIQ app to take your HRV from the OHR on the Fenix, plus, Apple watch will calculate an HRV value every time you do the "Breathe" app on the watch.
