A single-band GPS receiver, which the Fenix, Samsung and Suunto all are, is not capable of 2m accuracy. It's a limitation of the technology. So I don't know how you were getting 2m "easily".…
Also received it, non beta user. Does anyone has a clue what is improved? Till now very dissapointed with the GPS accurracy (netherlands).
I know the FR945 does a better job and the Fenix suffers from…
I have 2.90 in fenix 6. Is incredible un accuracy.... In rainy day...
Current beta firmware is 4.02, so I'm guessing those of us using beta won't receive this update

I know the FR945 does a better job and the Fenix suffers from it's metal casing. But would be nice to see some improvements.

This update improves the time it takes to acquire GPS lock when starting an activity.
My 6X gps has been great, are you sure you watch doesn't have a defect? Have you tried the other GPS settings? I don't know what kind of accuracy you're expecting, but mine has always been accurate to within about 10 meters, which is plenty for me. But if you are hoping for sub-3m accuracy, for example, then no watch currently on the market will do that.
For me 10 m is nothing. I had using samsung watch and sunto Spartan. And 2 m accu is easy to get

No watches (I repeat, NO watches) currently on the market have the dual-band receivers necessary for sub-3m accuracy. So you could not have possibly gotten 2m accurcy "easily", aside from the "even a broken watch is correct twice a day" factor.
I'm sorry if your expectation is that you should be getting better than 10m accuracy out of a wrist watch. I wish you good luck on your wild goose chase to find something that meets those expectations.
