Weather location not updating as I travel

Contact the developer of the watch face.

I recently travelled from Turkey to the UK. I did not update the GPS or start an activity and the weather on the stock face did update (it went from a lovely 18C to a more UK centric 3C!). If using a stock face you don’t need to update your GPS by using an activity.

Not only that, but you will need the phone to get the weather to send to the watch

I guess i just have to either use stock watchface or just deal with gps updating. 

Phone is connected with my watch and running Connect app at all time in the background.

Is it enough to have the GPS synced, or do we need to start an activity and stop/save it also?

No need to start/stop the activity, it's sufficient to wait for the gps acquired message.

So go into running activity, wait for "green" gps status, exit to the watch face. The watch face will now store the new location and use this info in the next internet request.

It would be better if the phone location would be used a certain time after the last gps fix on the watch.

With every added feature comes the chance of new bugs.
