Pool Swim Auto-Rest feature

I read somewhere that the new firmware for the 6 has the Auto-Rest feature from the Swim-2? Can anyone verify if this feature is or isn't present ?

I am a bit concern that I m moving quite a bit when resting like take off the goggle, drink, etc

i can enable auto-rest in the swim application. but never test it.

I've tested the feature and can confirm that it works. When you stop and rest, whole data screen changes and rest timer field starts. Function needs to be enabled under Pool Swim Settings (Auto Rest On).

Did you press lap button after you rested or it just recognized the new lap when you pushed off the wall? Thanks

I am using it for quite some time now. Works nicely. You don't have to press anything, it recognises itself when you stop and start. Sometimes it may take a few seconds, but looking at the data it retrospectively decides it was swimming data or not. Also, try to keep your watch still when resting, or it may think you have started to swim again. Give it a try! I never turned it off since :-)

Works nicely. Used it about 5 times with 95% success rate (every 20th lap or so it misses a lap or doesn't start rest in time). I try to keep it very still for at least 3-5 seconds until it registers and confirms rest, then carry on with drink and goggle adjustments without any issues.
