Extend screen on smartphone

Hello community,

We can extend the screen of the Fenix to a Garmin edge and its works perfectly. To have a bigger screen, do you know if we can extend the fenix screen to a smartphone (iPhone) it would be useful for bike ride ?

Garmin would have to add it to their app. So far you only get live heart rate and steps.

But mirroring for example all setup data screens of an activity would be cool.

I use my Garmin for rowing and this would be really nice. THe FR945/Fenix records stroke rate/distance per stroke etc, but you can't really see that on your wrist while rowing. People buy the StrokeCoach…

You can extend the screen to an Edge unit only so the largest screen available to you is the Edge 1030. Not possible to use smartphones

Why would u want to use a smartphone for a bike ride? I think you will lose battery life v fast using the smartphone w that shiny screen.

The goal its to have a bigger screen with data of my F6 when i ride my bike. Not easy to see all on the watch on the bicycle.

because it has a larger screen for one, and with all the Siri functions, I can say text so and so, or call so and so, or play music just by saying hey Siri. I use mine all the time

However lots of us already have phones and garmin watches. VS paying for yet another device.

People buy the StrokeCoach/SpeedCoach which has boat mounts, but seems redundant when my Garmin is grabbing the same data. Would love to transmit it to a phone screen.
