GPS not locking in

Hello everyone.

Does anyone know how to solve this?
I got my Fenix 6, I set it all up then I went to play around with the actives. I noticed the GPS wasn't looking in, the maps showed me at the right place just the GPS isn't going green. The red bar goes all the way to the end but then it drops back to 0%.
I've tried to lock it in at multiple places and still the same issue.

I did a test with my 935 and it worked within a couple of seconds.

So I reset my watch, deleted the app and retried it and the same issue.
My watch software is 6.10, GPS is 2.70.

Anyone know how to solve this?

Have you recently synced with Garmin connect?

If you don't do this, the watch won't have up to date GPS info and a lock can take a long time:

I've done that, I sync it a couple times during the game.

Connect to a computer, find your way to REMOTESW and delete the CPE file there, then sync to Garmin Express. Then put you watch outside for `15 mins or with an activity select so that GPS can ‘soak’

Is this actually an issue, or is it just that the green bar behaves differently from your 935?

I've tired that, the red loading bar stays full now.

I believe it is an issue, my 935 connects in the same locations within seconds and my fenix 6 doesn't connect at all. I haven't seen it connect yet.

Yeah, that's what I did, I had it outside for around 30 minutes.

The next step would be (for me) a master reset (all settings etc. get lost).

I did a "hard reset" but the same issue.
