Surprisingly good GPS track

which SW version are you on? Which setting for GPS?

6.00 and 2.70 with data recording every second

Only GPS? Glonass? Galileo? 

Do you have some other good track or only this one occasionally is ok? 

Skied the same track today, with the same good result. Today SW 6.10 and GPS 2.70, GPS + Glonass.

In running activity i have an offset , some drift too, but when cycling, gps track is veryv good, i think the wirst motion affect accuracy

When skiing wirst motion is smoother vs running.

Well, the antenna is in the bezel, so moving your wrist may mean pointing the antenna in different directions.

But also in cross country sky the wrist is moved continuosly and the track in the main post is perfect. 

Great track! I'm very happy with mine as well, I feel like a lot of the people who are reporting poor GPS performance either have defective devices, or perhaps the device is ok but their expectations are unrealistic. I suspect there's a mix of both scenarios.

I've had my F6X since the day of release, 5+ months now. Have used every firmware since whatever version came on the first batch of watches. Recorded many tracks by now, always had great results on every firmware. However, I don't ever do activities that involve going around a track/course multiple times, doing the same thing over and over again, so I don't know how well my watch would do with that. But for my purposes, primarily hiking in the mountains or running on bike trails, it's great. Sure, it occasionally has my track 10-20ft off to the side of the trail, but I don't care, and mostly it's spot on. It's as good as I could ever expect from a wristwatch. But I can see how someone would be disappointed when they might be expecting it to show precisely which lane they're in when running laps around a track, without ever having it drift into other lanes or slightly off the track. But I don't think people with that expectation are ever going to be happy with any GPS device, especially not a wrist-worn one.

And if someone is experiencing truly awful tracks (and, I have seen legitimately bad tracks posted here before), it's likely due to a defective device, and should be either exchanged or have Garmin take a look at it.

Ha ...is probably a lot of defective numbers???
